David's books are detailed below
|
|
David's first book is entitled 'Wild About
Cornwall', this book looks at the very best
places to go to experience the wildlife in 40 varied locations around
Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The locations have been chosen by
David to reflect the different habitats across the county; to give good
geographical coverage and to offer the best chance to see the featured
wildlife. It is not only a practical guide, giving details of access and species to be seen, but an
attractive book enhanced by the David's delightful text and packed with
his stunning colour photographs. Details of the chosen locations
include, where relevant, a brief history of the site; a description of
the conservation strategies used there and a close look at some of the
key species.

Book Details: ISBN: 9780906720516; Size: 214mm

Many people have commented on how much they have
learned by reading this book and about the new places they have been
introduced to as a result. The guide to when to look for
different species has proved very useful. |

David's
second book was published in October 2007, this is a
photographic work revealing the landscape of Penwith, where he lives.
The book, entitled 'Penwith Moods' captures the true spirit of this part
of Cornwall.

David
has been surprised by how much impact this seems to have had on
people with a casual interest in photography; from his courses and
workshops he has met many people who have been inspired by the
photos in Penwith Moods. It was more anticipated that people
who are attracted by the beauty of West Cornwall also find this book
appealing.

book excellent - very good directions when the paths aren't well
